Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990

Vortex™ builds Total Access Equipment Systems that are compliant with the regulations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). When purchasing a Vortex System, you may be eligible to receive a tax credit. The Disabled Access Credit allows you to take a tax credit for expenses incurred to make your business more accessible to the disabled. The amount of the credit is 50 percent of the costs of the eligible expense if over a minimum cost of $250 to under a maximum cost of $10,250. The maximum amount of the tax credit in a given tax year is $5,000 and is reduces your tax liability on a one-for-one dollar basis on the taxes owed.
